History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Lance isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. Lance enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 15 years.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and he is unsatisfied with his job

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: Expand his business; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Roger's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.
