He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Apothecary hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born into a rich family. A freak accident while working with his Scribe father left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
