History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is a great chef.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by goblins in a raid when he was still a young child. The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Trey was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student he started as a Scribe, but he got bored and became a Interpreter. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
