Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: He was born in the north. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. Gilbert is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His first spouse was a Dyer, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Dyer they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Gardener, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: Kody was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He found a children's book about a Human Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
