History: Born to a Interpreter, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Description: This man stands a little under 6'5" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He is renowned for his bright red suits and hats. His moppish brown hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His eyes are gray and catlike.
Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his poetry with anyone who is interested.
History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His parents were killed by orcs in a raid when he was still a young child. The orcs captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Slave Trader born in the past three hundred years. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gilbert grew up listening to his father's many stories. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Slave Trader. He became a Slave Trader soon after.
Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: He was raised in a plains tribe. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.
