History: Gerard hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Bather for the past few years.

After a long history of fighting, Raymond and his spouse have recently divorced.
