History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Painter born in the past three hundred years. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He comes from a rich western family. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He became a Painter soon after.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Roofer. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the east. Shane was born on a far eastern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Engraver. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he feels threatened by others
