Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Born to a Shoemaker, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of giants; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: Gifted from a young age, Bertram studied abroad. His parents enrolled him in a Adept school at a young age so that he could practice his psionic talents. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Bertram was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Aldous fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
