History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Thomas grew up listening to his mother's many stories. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Carter. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: Raymond hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away.
