History: He was born in the south. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature monstrous two handed axe.

History: Bertram hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Knight hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Bertram was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.
