History: Aldous hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Aldous was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and revenge

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Norman embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
