Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of orcs may trigger it at times.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: He was born into a rich family. Shane abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature longsword.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His divine abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.
