History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Cartwright work with an outfit from a few towns over. Cartwright work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. At a young age his mother died while driving off some gnolls. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in mace use. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Revenge.

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears dark leathers with embroidery. He has chestnut hair. His fierce violet eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: Shane was born with his father's beautiful face. He married young, but lost his spouse to gnolls. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Shane was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Description: This exceptionally lanky man wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He has dyed his greying brown hair a little too much giving a sharp brown color. His hazel eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He hates brigands. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His first spouse was a Spy, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His hair is short and white. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his hazel eyes.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He feeds upon the attention of others.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Ernest was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ernest fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
