Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he has a large yellow mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his black robe. His hair is chestnut and curly. His half smiles and blue eyes are beguiling and draw you in.
Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.
History: Gifted from a young age, Alex studied abroad. Through the years after Alex was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Alex's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Description: He is lean but muscular and wears silk and lounges about seductively. He has dyed his greying red hair a little too much giving a sharp red color. His amber eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.
History: He was born in the east. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Seamstress they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Mason, and he later adopted a second daughter.
Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and to reunite with his absent mother

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears tattered old clothes. He has styled his golden hair well, parting it to the left. His ears are large.
Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.
History: Gunter was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sailor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. His silver hair has been sun bleached extensively. His eyes are blue and he is always smoking a pipe.
Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.
History: Born in the north to a Mercenary, Cory learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Mercenary. He struck the Mercenary job and began his own company from there.
Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Mercenary responsibilities is difficult; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: He is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. He is portly but not overly obese. His broad hat is riddled with cuts and holes. He has gleaming, smiling brown eyes.
Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.
History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Adam was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Carpenter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Carpenter work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
