Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Bernard never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Kody was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
