Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing poetry.

History: Balimaar was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Balimaar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears rags and sports a simple walking cane, and a wedding ring on his right hand. His golden hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His violet eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. A true patriot, Rolf would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Rolf was born the youngest of three triplets. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Description: This late middle aged man dresses in tan turtlenecks beneath a black coat with grey slacks and is in decent physical shape. He has styled his blonde hair well, parting it to the right. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady brown eyes.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. After a long history of fighting, Godfrey and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. He is obsessed with his god.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
