When his mother died while fighting brigands, the young Theobald began to lead the lost caravan. History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his religion dominates his actions
