Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

Description: He wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. His golden hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a broad hat. His eyes are amber and beady.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Thomas was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He worked as a nervous Bellfounder and found it very stressful. He has achieved small success as a Bellfounder.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He's also a talented Mortician, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his lance with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. His golden hair has been sun bleached extensively. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: He tends to wear a large white jacket, and carries daggers. His black hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. He is baby faced.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. The war was a terrible time for him, and Arnold does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Arnold fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
