History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born to a Farmer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Gardener hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor.
