History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Thomas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Armorer.

Description: 6'6" and muscular, this southern man typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep black leather and dull violet iron scale mail. He keeps his long chestnut hair kept up in a rat tail. His eyes are likewise violet. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Marshal who has hired him part-time. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Randal lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: Dustin is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many drow want him driven away; and he wants revenge against drow
