History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Marshal.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Dean lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He struck the Shipwright job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Description: A 6'4" western man, he dresses like a well dressed Layabout does. He has a long auburn beard with little hanging trinkets. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Layabout. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Layabout.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and balancing his hectic life and new layabout responsibilities is difficult
