Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is obsessed with his god.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. Manfred was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he is greedy

He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
