When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Stableman hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Banker arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Through the years after John was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. John's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
