History: He got into the Scribe business at a young age. At some point he was captured by drow and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He now owns his own business.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature morningstar.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Roland was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Roland's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
