History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Simon was born on a far northern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Fisher. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Knight and was forced into it by his family; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
