Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. William liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. William was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Through the years after Gilbert was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Gilbert's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now mingles about in high society.
