History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Roland's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Through the years after Roland was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west.
