History: Gifted from a young age, Charles studied abroad. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Barkeep work with an outfit from a few towns over. Barkeep work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He tends to his Barkeep job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
