History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He's also a talented Glassblower, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Rolf never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He was born into a rich family. In his youth he was a Fisher, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Crown-heir mother left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother.
