Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. Shane liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.

History: Hubert was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He worked as a nervous Servant and found it very stressful. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 11 years.

Motivation: To be a Tanner again; and he loathes his own lifestyle

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Balimaar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and a deep hatred of drow
