History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Gerald was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and to unite with his brother

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Butcher.

History: Bernard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
