Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Manfred embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When Manfred reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Hunter's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Hunter was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud
