History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, giants burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying west to reunite his family. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He now owns his own business.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He got into the Tanner business at a young age. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
