History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered illithids who tried to eat his hand. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Alex was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

History: Born to a Sage, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Tailor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
