History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Cory grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Bertram's homeland. Bertram decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Shoemaker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Shoemaker work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Shoemaker for the past few years.
