Reynard Roscoe, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He has the majority of his body covered in plate. He wears his black hair up. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
Motivation: Money/treasure; and he seems to be bored by most things
Flaws: Insane, Mundane. Bonds: Rich, Slave. Occupation: Herbalist
Voice: Speaks like tongue is numb

Jocelyn Astley, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Human, and stands approximately 5'4". He wears suspenders and black workpants. His shirt is blue, and he wears a heavy black leather apron most of the time, and his gloved hand is found clutching a lance. His head has been shaved. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Jocelyn is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Jocelyn and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.
Ideals: Philantrophist, Justice, Logical. Flaws: Ugly, Antagonistic. Occupation: Fortune-teller

Anselm Oakes, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized brown coat. He carries a battered axe and tarnished greataxe as well. He sports a long black beard, and similarly colored long hair. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this eastern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. The war was a terrible time for him, and Anselm does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Anselm fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Gerard Benson, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing grey cape and mantle trimmed with soft brown waves gently in the breeze. With bright silver hair and a scraggly beard. His violet eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.
