History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gerard grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gerard was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature spear.

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle, and is pretty ugly. His hair is cut close to his head. He has violet eyes and a black hat with a white feather.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Dean was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

His attire stands in sharp contrast to his warhammer, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a butterfly on it. His white hair is thinning but still full. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep brown.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with music. He constantly tries to fill his life with music. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Dustin's homeland. Dustin decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Dustin fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
