History: The child of a Marshal, who enjoyed hunting, Ralf was taken on many hunting expeditions. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: Everard is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Everard hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Jocelyn embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.
