History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Hubert was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Knight. He struck the Knight job and began his own company from there.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. During his travels, Chad and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Chad discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Chad fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
