He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.
