Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing dancing.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bernard grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he loathes his own lifestyle

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He found a children's book about a Human Warlock who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire; and to settle down with his crush

History: He was born in the south. His first spouse was a Bather, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and to unite with his sister

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Fortune-teller.
