History: Theobald was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He became a Mayor soon after.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and human compassion

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He came across an abandoned tomb where he found a relic that called out to him. After picking it up he was cursed by a spirit.
