History: Heward was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Cleric, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Cleric in service of a powerful lord somewhere. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is obsessed with his god.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Apothecary. He struck the Apothecary job and began his own company from there.
