History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Geoffrey was born with his father's beautiful face. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Jocelyn was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. At a young age his mother died while driving off some dire rats. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in monstrous two handed axe use. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Jocelyn was horrified and prayed that his father was alright.
