History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

When his father died while fighting drow, the young Aldous began to lead the lost caravan. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.
