Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Arnold was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
