His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Junk Dealer they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Shoemaker, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and doesn't want to be a shoemaker and was forced into it by his family
