Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Hugh was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his painting with anyone who is interested.

His first spouse was a Bookbinder, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a beer of some kind. He wears bulky brown painted plate armor, marred by beers. He is bald on top and has large golden tufts of hair around his ears. His blue eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gunter embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Born in the north to a Shoemaker, Gunter learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Gunter has worked very hard to control his curse. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
