Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Bernard's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. When Bernard reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Tanner. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A gifted student he started as a Masseuse, but he got bored and became a Unemployed. He has worked as a Unemployed like his father before him.

Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Roland never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
