History: Bertram was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Apothecary but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Apothecary arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shortspear.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: He is fixated on the number 100. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Aldous has worked very hard to control his curse. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Born in the west to a Guard, Ralf learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Guard for the past few years.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
